Terms of Service
Version 2026-10-18 · Last updated October 18, 2026
These terms apply when you ask TechMe for help. They are written in plain words on purpose. If anything is unclear, ask before you pay.
1. Who you are dealing with
Win Nguyen, trading as TechMeHamlet 1, Phuoc Vinh Residential Group, Hue City, Vietnam
Email: winnguyen.techdev@gmail.com
2. The service
I provide technical help in writing: answers to questions (Ask), finding and fixing problems (Fix), reviews of websites, setups or proposals (Review), and small builds (Build). I may decline a request, for example if it is outside my skills, too large, or not allowed under section 6. If I decline, you are not charged.
3. How a request becomes a contract
- You describe your problem.
- You see a fixed price, or I send a written quote.
- The contract is made when you pay.
- I work on it and deliver my answer, instructions or the completed work in writing.
4. Prices and payment
- Prices are in US dollars and paid in advance through PayPal. You see the full price before paying.
- Fix: the diagnosis fee pays for finding the cause and a written diagnosis. If you accept the follow-up quote, the diagnosis fee is deducted from it.
- Taxes: the service is supplied from Vietnam. Prices do not include EU or UK VAT. Business customers in the EU or UK account for any VAT themselves under the reverse-charge rules.
- I send a receipt by email for every payment.
5. Your part
- Give accurate information and answer my questions when I need more detail.
- Only ask for work on websites, accounts and systems that you own or are allowed to manage.
- Keep a current backup before I change anything. I tell you when a step needs one.
- Never send passwords in messages. If access is needed, give temporary access with limited rights, and remove it when the work is done.
6. What I do not do
Anything illegal; accessing systems without the owner's permission; bypassing licences or security of third-party services; collecting other people's data unlawfully; or large projects that were not quoted in writing.
7. Right of withdrawal (consumers in the EU and UK)
If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you may withdraw from the contract within 14 days of paying, without giving a reason.
- Because the service is written help, you can ask me to start straight away. When you pay, you expressly request that I begin during the withdrawal period and you acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed.
- If you withdraw after I have started but before I have finished, you pay a proportionate amount for the work done until you told me, and I refund the rest.
- To withdraw, send a clear statement to winnguyen.techdev@gmail.com. You may use the model form below. I refund within 14 days, through the same payment method.
Model withdrawal form
To Win Nguyen, Hamlet 1, Phuoc Vinh Residential Group, Hue City, Vietnam, winnguyen.techdev@gmail.com:
I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the following service: ___.
Ordered on / paid on: ___ · Name: ___ · Email used: ___ · Date: ___
8. Refunds
- Ask: if I cannot answer your question, you get a full refund.
- Fix: if I cannot give you any diagnosis, the diagnosis fee is refunded. If you paid a quote and I cannot complete the fix, that quote is refunded in full.
- Review and Build: if I cannot deliver what was agreed, you get a full refund.
- Refunds go back through PayPal within 14 days. Your rights under section 7 and under mandatory consumer law are not affected.
9. Response times
I aim to reply within one working day (Monday to Friday, Vietnam time, UTC+7). This is a target, not a guarantee. For work that takes longer, I give you an estimate in writing.
10. Quality and liability
- I work with reasonable care and skill, and I tell you honestly when something is uncertain.
- Many problems depend on third-party services (hosting, domain registrars, platforms). I cannot guarantee how they behave, and I cannot guarantee a specific business result.
- My total liability for a request is limited to the amount you paid for it. This limit does not apply to damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, to death or personal injury, or where the law does not allow a limit. Consumers keep all rights under the mandatory law of the country where they live.
11. Confidentiality and your work
I keep everything you send confidential and use it only for your request. See thePrivacy Notice. Code, settings and documents I create for you are yours to use without limit once paid. I keep my general know-how.
12. Complaints and disputes
If something goes wrong, email me first. I answer every complaint in writing. You can also use PayPal's resolution process. These terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence and may bring a claim before the courts there.
13. Changes
The version at the top shows which terms apply. The terms in force when you pay apply to that request.
